Most planet designs are so lame with no imagination, planets are so bland. Story ongoing is terrible, they filled the game with puzzles and boring openworld walking. Mass Effect was amazing with everything. This game is a disappointment, they had budget, they had time, they could do better.
Ich spiele es jetzt zum ersten mal bevor die Legendary Version rauskommt. Ich finde das Spiel top. Sowohl Story, Grafik und Gameplay.

Only thing I care about in Mass Effect is story. Bioware somehow managed to ruin the story even with the budget they had. They should have used the money to hire better screenwriter instead of using it all on ads.

A great game that is in much better state than when it was launched. So many hours of exploration, great combat, and beautiful world.

Most quests are boring and most things you do feels like chores instead of entertainment. It might be fun on the first planet but after that most quests feels boring and repetitive. And it’s not only the quests that are repetitive, it’s also the enemies and the creatures on different planets. And in a game that focus a lot on exploration this repetitiveness is a lot more noticeable. The combat is also not very fun in my opinion, even though it feels a lot better and is not as stiff as the other Mass Effect games. But the cover system feels very clunky and the fact that you are limited to only 3 active abilities when there are around 20 to choose from makes me frustrated and wishing for more options to have FUN in combat. In its current state the combat feels very bland and lacking things to make me feel entertained. With that said I actually I still enjoyed the game even though it have a lot of flaws. I never found any major bugs that annoyed me and I was fine with the facial animations that a lot of people have criticized the game for. What made be appreciate the game is the overall setting and tone of the game and I liked the story and the characters, and in my opinion that is the most important part of a Mass Effect game. I managed to quickly feel immersed in the world and loved the first hours. But the repetitive nature of the game made it worse and worse the longer I played. After playing it for some time I kind of wished that the game was over so that it wouldn’t taint my experience anymore. Luckily the main quest managed to stay varied and therefore I found the game enjoyable until the end and I do not regret purchasing it... but the developers could have made it a lot better than what we ended up with.

OK so it wasn't a "Mass Effect" game, but it was great, looked good, played good and I had a GREAT TIME playing. I did not experience the emotional attachment to the characters like I wanted to, (or thought I should?). Solid, keeping my score at 840 hours in Review..Still loving the game play, combat is fun, I have most of the weapons and Mods I want, but my romance options are terrible. I am a straight female so my romance options are limited to Liam and Jaal. Moody or Cheerful, No Thank-you.20 hours in Review...Yep, Still having a great time and the update so the eyeballs are not crazy made a huge improvement in the way my character looks..10 hours in review...I am enjoying the story and the weapon and armor mods. The combat was fun, and love using the jump jets in battle. I LOVE, LOVE charge.. (I guess I am not the norm, but after ME 1, 2 and 3, this is fresh and different?)It did take me 3 tries to make a character I could stand playing.End note... I am not a hardcore gamer, I like playing games instead of watching TV or Movies, Mass Effect scratches my Science Fiction itch....

Just like you did with battlefront, red alert, generals and the list goes on and on.
While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story.

Overall, despite its shortcomings Mass Effect: Andromeda was an enjoyable experience for me. The first few hours feel like a grind, but you will be rewarded for sticking with it. The game is dragged down a bit by all of the reading that must be done and some overly long conversations, but this is rather typical for the genre. The game really shines when you're exploring an alien world and battling the local fauna, and when you get down to it that's what you really want out of a space-based RPG.
BioWare has often shown more willingness than most triple-A developers to respond to community criticisms and they’re already pushing patches to rectify Andromeda’s many issues, so I’m not pronouncing the Mass Effect series dead just yet. But speaking as someone who owns multiple pieces of N7 apparel and has read the Mass Effect books – the freaking books – I hate Andromeda. Maybe this is karmic balance for all of the recent big-name releases that have actually lived up to my expectations, but it’s been a long time since a game left me feeling as deflated as this one.
Seven out of ten, barely. In the genre of narrative sandbox are now many better fresh games and I have no choice but to ask – has BioWare lost good writers, or does it hope that the players will simply be satisfied with a silly story and uninteresting characters, accompanied by a good combat system? For me, both options are quite sad.
Mass Effect: Andromeda at times captures the essence of the Mass Effect trilogy but doesn’t quite live up to its potential. The story and its lovable cast of characters stand as solid starting blocks in an expansive universe. Performance issues, bugs, and design flaws hurt an otherwise commendable role-playing game.
Opinions of Mass Effect: Andromeda will differ greatly based on expectations. The game still provides many hours of enjoyment and lots of the good things that fans have come to expect, but those hoping the series uses this opportunity to take another giant leap may find themselves brought back to Earth with a bump. For everything the development team has done right, there is a little misstep that holds it back, particularly when building the overall story. It's still a highly enjoyable game, but not as stellar as many might have hoped.
It's also an utter mess in a technical sense. There are a few enjoyable moments here and there, and over time you can see the skeletal framework of a better game start to emerge, but given the heights Mass Effect has reached in the past, it's hard to believe this is what we've been waiting five years for.
Andromeda is robust and delivers effectively on the key elements it advertises, and then goes above and beyond regarding play style tailoring and experienceable customization. That said, the characters look more at home in the Sims 3 era, and the dialog fails to be more than lackluster - cringe-worthy at times. Nevertheless, while Mass Effect: Andromeda proves a quality example of its genres, diehard fans of the Mass Effect universe and its original story should wait until BioWare patches the technical bugs, and the price point lowers.

The game is a lot new, and it's good. Let's remember all that we loved Mass Effect for. The game was a drama, a beautiful story, each character had a soul and personal tragedies. In the new game, I did not see this. I did not hear the pain in my voice, I did not see the tears and emotions on their faces. I do not believe in the drama of the people of Andromeda.Of course, there are pluses. The fighting became interesting. But this is the only plus. But this advantage does not interest me.I expected a new story with great emotions. And what did I get? Forgery.I'm deceived.

However, it rarely works. It has crashed on me 12 times in 12 hours, and objects are constantly popping in and out of existence. I'm also getting an error where the map is showing the Hyperion while I'm on Eos. Crew members are talking to party members that I haven't recruited yet. Plus, I'll activate the same line of dialogue many times when out in the world, and sometimes characters just stop talking out of nowhere. I know that a lot of people aren't having the same errors I am, but this is the buggiest experience in gaming I've had in years.
This is by far the least optimized, most buggy entry in the series. The sheer volume of glitches, animation problems, frame rate issues, and weird hitching lag plagues the entire experience, and it's a damn shame.

Mass Effect: Andromeda manages to feel both overloaded with content and spread too thin. There are great battles to be won, puzzles to solve, and satisfying social interactions, but they're hidden behind layers of presentation problems and tedious travel times.

The world isCharacterdevelopment is great with many choices and skills. Rather than having a class system you can create your own class now. The world is beautiful and actualy visualy reflects your progress in main and side story in the form of outposts and the new citadel, which actualy grow and develop. The battle system is fluid and fun. The new vehicle is a lot fun and controls a lot better than the one in Mass Effect 1.However the game has its flaws aswell. The face animations are pretty bad. After a few hours it didnt realy bother me anymore, but it has to be said. The story is interesting and very different. I like to compare it to a more anime like story where the characters are funny and cool, sometimes in an exaggerated but funny matter. Of course there are also plenty of serious moments in the game. The game is great and a lot of fun. It is not perfect but it is a solid 8 out of 10. The 10 rating is supposed to counter the clownes who gave 0-4. Most haters just dont like Biowares political opinion. Dont miss out on such a great game.

I can't say enough good things about this game. The gameplay itself is very much what I've come to expect from other Mass Effect games.I can't say enough good things about this game. The gameplay itself is very much what I've come to expect from other Mass Effect games. Graphics are good, animation is tolerable (but maybe they'll fix that), combat is fun, dialog is compelling, and story is amazing.I say the story is amazing because I really feel like it captures the loneliness, fear, anxiety, uncertainty, and wonder of being thrown into another galaxy where we know very little about it. The story feels similar to Stargate Universe (which was actually my favorite Stargate series). Plus the events that unfold when you arrive add a sense of mystery to the overarching story.I also like that the characters that become a part of your crew are mostly regular people with pretty normal backstories, and that doesn't mean they don't have character depth or development. On the contrary they have a large depth to them if you continue talking to them and you find out more about their personalities. It's refreshing that these characters don't have some kind of "special" backstory that make them exceptional people because that happens in nearly every game (including previous Mass Effect games) and it gets old. Having normal people with good personalities around you is refreshing and it adds to the realism of the story of these people starting a new life in a new place far away from our System. There are some tech issues in the game, but no show stoppers. Overall I'm very happy, and I'll leave you with this: I was playing several games when this came out: Ghost Recon Wildlands, and NieR: Automata and now Mass Effect Andromeda has pulled me in enough to drop the both of them and finish it first before returning to them. I consider that a win!
Mass Effect: Andromeda is simply an amazing game. It renews the franchise yet manages to feel really familiar for fans. Unfortunately, the game suffers from some technical problems, but they hardly impact the gameplay.
You might initially turn your nose up at Mass Effect: Andromeda, but stick with it and you'll be richly rewarded with a vast space opera that gets better and better. It has problems, but they pale into insignificance once you're swept up in the exploits of Mass Effect: Andromeda's Pathfinder.
Without any doubt, Mass Effect: Andromeda is nearly everything the fans were waiting for. A great story told just as only BioWare knows, set on incomparable alien worlds and surrounded by charismatic characters that are tough to forget. Unfortunately it fails on technical aspects, but the gameplay balances it out.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is a great project by BioWare, and it is a stunning experience. Amazing narrative and plot, a true feeling of exploration and a very dynamic combat system. Even though its animations may not be the best, this game offers hours and hours of action and entertainment.
Mass Effect Andromeda is the anticipated sequel to the hit space trilogy that, sadly enough, doesn’t deliver. Sketchy animations, uninspiring characters and uneven story make this one a space-adventure to quickly forget.
Unfortunately, Mass Effect: Andromeda picked up some unwelcome visitors on its long journey to your gaming machine. Though it has some stellar moments, “Andromeda” tries to cram too many ideas into one package, turning its obsession with the bigness of space into a crutch for uncharacteristically shoddy workmanship.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is an unbalanced experience. It’s an incredibly ambitious game with a colossal scope, but it doesn’t always hit the right notes.
If you could combine the story and memorable quests of the originals with the combat, visuals and scope of Andromeda, you would have the perfect video game, though I think what's offered here will satisfy most. Despite its issues, Andromeda is welcome return to one of my favorite fictional universes, and I am still not ready to let Mass Effect go. I'm not sure I ever will be.
BioWare doesn't take risks and reuses already known elements and mechanics and the result is a massive game with many hours of fun. Technical issues are obvious, although not so serious to burden five years of development work from a studio that has brought us great moments in the past and will keep doing it in the future. Andromeda exists to be thoroughly explored with that curiosity that fuels the Initiative. It's not perfect, but it's without a doubt enjoyable.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is an enormous game that will keep the player engaged for tons of hours of gameplay. The combat system is probably the best thing about the entire project: it's fast and rewarding. Sadly it has a bunch of flaws starting from the animation department to the big landscapes full of secondary, boring quests. And above all it lacks the epic tone of the previous installments.
